Hi,
I am currently reading The Lord of the Flies.
The juniors in regular English class at my school had to read it. I'm in advanced placement so I didn't have to read it, but since it is so commonly referenced I decided I should read it anyways.
I'm at the part when there is a fight between Ralph and Jack at the assembly and Jack decides to leave the group followed by the hunters, his loyal choir-boys. Sometimes I have a hard time understanding the story and I need to check if I'm getting it right so I go online and see if the plot development in my mind is the same as the book. I'm glad to announce that it is even though I miss a few details every now and then.
Also I am reading Chronicle of a Death Foretold for my AP-English class. I am not understanding that one bit.
Which is probably why I'm in the class. Anyways I need to get on that because I have to right an essay on Thursday or maybe even Wednesday! I hate essays.
And finally I'm also reading the robot stories from I, Robot. I read one every now and then.I really like the first one best. Robbie the simplest robot and the most humane in any sense that I can make out from the robots in the rest of the stories, but of course the robots are all for a purpose and Robbie was designed to be a nanny. I like the organization of the positronic brain in all the stories so far. I'm at Liar now, but I haven't got past the first paragraph. I have to read more later. Probably after CoaDF.
Oh I forgot to mention The Umbrella Academy.
Oooo... the violence in that book is gruesome, but I can't look away. The story is so intuiging. I wan't to know if there is anything left between Vanya and the Kraken, and of course anyone reading it is at the edge of their seat to know what number 5 is going to tell The Rumor. I want to know what's gonna happen to the Seance with Hazel and Cha-Cha.
Okay now I will let you know about my books.
Anyone who's been reading Story Time knows that I'm on part 8 right now. I honestly make it up as I go. I don't have a plan necessarliy except the general ending. I think I've decided what's going to come next though.
Also I am writing a story for a friend. I work on that afterschool, but she is so impatient.
In my head I am always thinking about a utpian society. I have no plot for that just background story. I probably wont get into that till after I'm done with Lord of the Flies and later 1984 by George Orwell.
And finally I have layed out a plot for the single most important story I have ever come up with. This one is inspire by nature it's self. I need a name for the Characters, but I have most of the plot worked out. Oh my gosh I am so excited for this. I have kept it a secret to everyone except my family and ElliveN.
