Hi,
Okay this is completely random because I had nothing to talk about.
I absolutely love miniature, model home like, doll houses. Like in an half inch scale.
Oh my gosh they are adorable. The first one I ever saw belonged to my father's dentist friend who's house we visited occasionally.
It looked exactly like there house just tiny and I loved it. The rooms looked the same the furniture was the same and the lighting was the same. The front door had the same glass design and the mailbox and everything; I loved it.
I wish I had one and when I grow up I will definitely get one designed after my dream home, if I'm not already living in it.
I've seen one of the White House on "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" TV show and I honestly wanted it for myself, but I think it's in a museum.
I was just looking at picture of some nice houses on a 1/2" scale and I was in awe at house real they look. It's not like a child's doll-house play set this is like a housewives spare time treasure. Like when people collect miniature ships, whether in bottles or not. This is going to be the thing I'm into when I grow up. They are super expensive though. There was one I was just looking at, a model of a light-keepers house without all the furnishings or extra stuff but it was $69.00, but looking at more they can go up to mid-500's.
Oh. My Gosh.
If I've ever wanted something completely useless it has never been as stong a desire as this.

PS- There was a dollhouse in one of the Friends episodes.
It caught fire in the end because of a problem with the electical wiring.
